PEER Servants's vision is to enable tens of thousands of the materially poor and non-poor to experience economic, social, and spiritual transformation. Thank you for your support in allowing that vision to become reality!
What is distinctive about PEER Servants?
Partnerships - We partner with ten indigenous, Christian microfinance institutions as they empower the materially poor economically, socially, and spiritually in Haiti, India, Moldova, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa, South Asia (SL), Uganda, and Zambia.
Volunteers - We are almost all volunteers, serving our microfinance partners with our skills in areas like marketing, IT, accounting, strategic planning, and more while also raising loan capital funds for them that they can loan to their materially poor clients. With God's help, we've dedicated around 100,000 hours of time and donated or raised over $2.5 million to empower the materially poor. Contact us if you'd like to volunteer your skills.
Reciprocity - Our partnerships are NOT one way; quite to the contrary, our volunteers are being enriched by the stakeholders of our microfinance partners and the materially poor clients they serve as we come to an appreciation of the many non-material ways in which they are richer than we.
We really appreciate your willingness to support us in our mission, be it by participating in one of our sponsored events like the Walk for Economic Empowerment, getting to know and support a group of microfinance clients through our G2G program, or creating your own event to raise funds that could empower the materially poor.
Our common desire at PEER Servants is to effectively live out our commitment to follow Jesus. Jesus really cared about and valued the materially poor. We want to do the same. Thank you for your encouragement to that end!

PEER Servants is currently offering the following as steps you can take to extend God's Kingdom...
Our 2012 Walk for Economic Empowerment is a great opportunity for you to empower the materially poor. 100% of the funds raised (beyond the $20 registration fee) will go to economic empowerment programs throughout the materially poor world. The 2012 Walks will be in Charleston (April 14), Columbus (May 12), and Boston/Wakefield (September 29). If none of those places are close to you, gather some friends and choose the "Wherever/Whenever" option. This website will allow you to form and name your team and keep track of the funds you are raising. We will send you official Walk T-Shirts to make your day complete.
G2G, or Group-to-Group, connects the supporters of PEER Servants (called a “peer group”) and the microfinance clients served by PEER Servants indigenous Christian partners (called a “client group”). Its primary goal is to create relationship between the two groups such that members of both groups can bless and strengthen the other with the gifts God has given them. As the group members get to know each other better, they will come to appreciate, love, and pray for each other more. G2G allows for complete transparency for peer groups members to see the impact their donations, prayers, and friendship are having on the lives of the client groups members; it also allows the client group members to appreciate how their prayers and friendship can impact the lives of peer group members.
Are you in? Then click on the "Start Fundraising" green link above or the specific Event/Campaign in the right sidebar. Within minutes you can register, create your own webpage, join or create a team, set your fundraising target, and use email and social networking to let your friends and family know that you're taking some steps to empower the materially poor and would appreciate their support.
From the tens of thousands of the materially poor that we have the privilege of serving through our microfinance partners, THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU!
