What's a Barnabas Account?

Every PEER Servants volunteer, staff member, or board member gets a Barnabas Account.  The funds they raise go into it and they can then distribute the funds within the guidelines our board establishes in each annual budget.  Barnabas Accounts are used most often to raise funds for a service trip to one of our microfinance partners.  Volunteers also use them to make scholarships available to other PEER Servants volunteers in financial need, to make grants of loan capital to a microfinance partner, to attend PEER Servants conferences and trainings, and much more.  In the spirit of Barnabas, these accounts are used by our volunteers to encourage others in some way.
