Many of you know of my passion for Free Wheelchair Mission.  After fundraising for the past 1 ½ years, I had the wonderful opportunity of being on a distribution mission trip to Chile this past November.  My photo is from a nursing home near Santiago where the majority of the residents have been abandoned by their families.  These people are being cared for by caregivers who have had to carry them from room to room.  The wheelchairs will make their jobs easier and allow these residents to move around the facility on their own.  The lady on the left with the big smile was thrilled to be able to go outside and smell the beautiful roses and feel the sun and breeze on her face.  Both the recipients and the caregivers were so grateful and as we left, they were all out on the porch waving to us.
