Enjoy a fun filled day of walking, jogging, or running if you choose, around a 400 meter, state-of-the-art, all weather track and join friends and family raise money for the Galen Foundation programs. There will be an assortment of activites for all age groups. Proceeds are used to benefit individuals and families who are touched by cancer by providing an interactive health communication portal where they can learn to live longer, better lives.
Ultimate Frisbee Returns! Gather together your friends, classmates and famiy to build a team and compete in the Ultimate Frisbee Competition.

What is the Galen Foundation and PeopleBeatingCancer.org?
The Galen Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by multiple myeloma survivor David Emerson to empower individuals who battle cancer and other chronic diseases to mangage their health and improve their lives. PeopleBeatingCancer.org, an interactive website that provides information, advice, and networking opporunities to those managing any type cancer, is the flagship program of the Galen Foundation.
What is Multiple Myeloma?
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of the plasma cells that affects over 60,000 people in the United States alone. The National Cancer Institute estimates that in 2007 there were 19,900 new cases of myeloma in the United States and 10,790 deaths.
