Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! This summer marks the 5th time Camp To Belong - Massachusetts will be held. This last year has been an especially challenging year as we work even harder to raise the funds necessary to operate camp and the year round Sibling Sunday program. We've had most of our state funding cut and many foundations have scaled back their grants. So the upcoming Walk-a-thon is critical to our fund raising success. Last year with the support of so many of you I was able to raise $3,200 in donations. This year I have upped my goal to $5,000. It would mean a great deal to the organization and to me if you would consider making a donation this year and help me reach my goal.
It's so hard for most of us to even imagine the trials and tribulations many children in the foster care system experience. Being moved from home to home and separated from one or more of their siblings. It's no wonder that when these children age out of the system at 18 that so many of them struggle in their adult life. The goal of Sibling Connections is to help give these at-risk children a better chance to succeed by having the support of a lasting relationship with their sibling.
