Minnesota Spay Neuter Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes. More specifically we seek to educate the general public about the benefits of spaying and neutering companion animals and to provide free spay/neuter surgeries to the companion animals of qualifying households in an effort to end overpopulation and suffering.
We have completed projects in every metro county and have sterilized over 1,300 animals. When you consider that each pair of unsterilized dogs and cats can produce an average of three to four offspring per litter, the 1,300 sterilizations have saved communities the expense and hardship related to 5,200 unwanted animals in just the first generation of breeding.
With your help, MSNP can double our impact in the Twin Cities Metro area in the next year.
