My personal message:
Welcome to Point Hope's online donation website! My heart is continually touched by the telephone calls and emails that I enjoy exchanging with my wonderful listeners. But now, I hope to touch your heart with the desperate needs of children and families in Buduburam, Ghana and in the U.S. And, with the opportunity to bring fullness and blessing to your life as you help provide the fullness of life for people in need.

In 2004, I traveled with World Vision to the Buduburam Refugee Settlement in the African country of Ghana to see for myself the desperate plight of more then 42,000 people who have fled the danger and chaos in their home country of Liberia. The sight of so many families living in such difficult and crowded conditions broke my heart. I knew I had to do something to help.

I have also been aware of children in need in the U.S. I have seen the need for healthcare, a better education, and a life filled with hope right here in our country.
Now, through a dynamic partnership between World Vision and my own Point Hope Foundation, we have the opportunity to bring the help and hope so desperately needed by these children and families. I invite you to give generously to touch the lives of these children in the U.S. and in Buduburam, Ghana. You can make a tax-deductible donation right no this web page. Here's how your gift can help:
  • $25 can provide healthcare for a child like immunizations and medicines
  • $50 can provide things like clothing and shelter for a child who has little or nothing
  • $75 can provide things like school supplies and educational fees to send a child to school
  • $100 can provide items like clean water, food security, and much more!
Together we can make an incredible difference in the lives of these precious families.

Your gift will do directly to World Vision and Point Hope to help meet the needs in Buduburam, Ghana, and in the U.S. (50% to Point Hope/World Vision joint projects in Buduburam, 25% goes to Point Hope/World Vision joint projects in the US to help children in need, and 25% goes to Point Hope administrative costs).
