Special Olympics Michigan - Polar Bear Plunges

Welcome to Polar Plunge 2017 Registration!

The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics athletes by taking a flying leap – a leap into the frigid waters of a Michigan lake, pond or pool. In 2017, there will be 27 locations.

Participants who raise at least $75 in donations from friends, family and co-workers get the privilege to jump into the icy waters in the middle of winter. Each plunger receives a Polar Plunge long sleeve t-shirt and entrance into an After Splash Bash, plus the chance to earn additional incentives for raising more money.

All proceeds collected by plungers benefit Special Olympics Michigan athletes. In 2016, over $1,000,000 was raised by more than 4,000 plungers.

Thank you for your interest and willingness to support the life-changing programs of Special Olympics Michigan.
