Our personal message:

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

According to the Center for Disease Control, 1 out of 150 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  We currently have 10 students at Potter-Burns diagnosed with Autism with  more  students undergoing evaluations.  That's 3 out of 150,  triple the national average.

I know  I speak for my team when I say working with these children is one the most rewarding experiences we will have in our lifetime.  It's evident by the countless smiles on our faces as  our students meet their goals or simply say something that makes us laugh whether they meant to or not.  It's also evident by the tears of joy in our eyes as we share stories of success.  If I could choose two words to describe the children I work with they would be JOY and INSPIRATION.  That is what they bring to me.

We have this great opportunity to gain some much needed professional development about autism.  If we meet our goal of $10,000, thiry  (30) staff members here at Potter-Burns will receive a comprehensive 9 week training series on Austism Spectrum Disorder.  This training will enhance the learning experience of our children diagnosed with autism and their peers.

Thank you for your support!
