I'm setting a goal of $2000... but I'm honestly hoping we can blow that out of the water. Donations of
any
size are greatly welcomed and appreciated. And, come February 17th, regardless of the final tally, I'm going to run like the wind!
Thanks for your help, love and support,
Jeff
(and the rest of the Schmulen Family and Project Crazy Legs Team)
***UPDATE*** -- Well, Wow! - We already hit $2000! Good work everyone! I'm going to reset a the goal at $5000. Let's see what happens.

In April of 2007 my Dad, Jim Schmulen, was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma brain tumor, also known as a glioblastoma multiforme. Now, after 2 brain surgeries, radiation treatment and 9 months of chemotherapy I'm happy to say he's doing really well... but the fight is far from over.
Last July some friends and I started training to run our first ever marathon in Austin, TX on February 17th, 2008 - something we dubbed "Project Crazy Legs". After a couple of months of training I put 2 and 2 together and I thought what better way to show support for my Dad's struggle than to help raise money for brain cancer research and other people fighting it. So, I'm asking for you, my friends, my family, and anyone else that happens across this page to donate to the National Brain Tumor Foundation... to give me motivation in running my first marathon, to give encouragement to Dad in his fight against brain cancer, and to give hope to all those the money will go to help.
