2nd annual Paddle for Pine Tree Camp CHALLENGE

2nd annual Paddle for Pine Tree Camp CHALLENGE

Saturday, August 18:    Two paddle routes are established to meet the needs of all skill levels, ages, abilities and boat types. Paddlers looking for a more scenic, calm route will paddle along the coastal edge, enjoying Maine’s beauty, sea-life and stunning architecture. Those looking for a more experienced paddle will adventure an open water paddle. Afterwards, all paddlers will enjoy a traditional seaweed lobster bake and barbecue at Winslow Park.

All paddlers are asked to raise a minimum of $150 in support of Pine Tree Camp.

The Paddle for Pine Tree Camp is a fundraising event designed to help Maine children and adults with disabilities attend Pine Tree Camp, a fully accessible summer camp. It costs $1,900 for our campers to attend a six-day session. In fact, 99% of campers recieve full or partial scholarship. Pine Tree Society hosts fundraisers to help make sure all who can benefit from the Pine Tree Camp experience are able to attend, regardless of their ability to pay tuition.  Be an important part of this tradition by raising at least $150. This minimum requirement ensures that Pine Tree Camp will be able to continue our Open Door Policy and for that we thank you.
