Welcome to the Autism Society of Connecticut's 3rd Annual PUZZLETHON!
Puzzlethon is the Autism Society of Connecticut's main annual fundraiser. It is like a walk-a-thon or a bike-a-thon, except that we raise money doing puzzles. Why puzzles: the puzzle piece is the symbol of the autism movement, many people living with autism enjoy puzzles, and doing puzzles with others offers people living with autism an opportunity for social interaction.
Raising money for the Autism Society of Connecticut through Puzzlethon is easy. All you have to do is create your own personal fundraising page, and then encourage your friends and others to contribute through your personal page. It's simple, and only takes a few minutes, even for people who are not computer experts.
- Click the Get Started button (at the bottom of this page)
- Personalize the text and the photo on your Online Fundraising Page to express your passions and your purpose.
- Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.
The 2009 Puzzlethon will be taking place on Saturday, March 14 at 4 different locaitons throughout Connecticut:
- West Hartford: Intensive Education Academy
- Wallingford: High Roads Learning Center
- Bridgeport: Skane Elementary School
- Montville: Fair Oaks School
Complimentary food and beverages will be provided by Subway and Pepsi.
All proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Connecticut's educational and support programs.
