Our generous supporters have come through by exceeding our original goal of $1000.00.  THANK YOU, ALL!  But we are not stopping here.  Let's see what we can do to reach the next goal.

As instructors for the radKIDS Personal Empowerment and Safety Education Program as well as the RAD for Women Self Defense training network, we have worked with hundreds of kids who have been emotionally, physically, or sexually abused.  Their stories are what drives us to participate in this event.

Child abuse comes in many forms and impacts children of all ages.  Much work needs to be done to combat this problem and this is just one way we see that it can help.

These are difficult economic times for many but child abuse is a continuous difficult time for the defenseless.   Those who will be making this 20 mile trek will experience discomfort but nothing compared to the fear and pain kids feel every day through abuse.

We are proud to provide safety education programs to kids ages 5 - 12 years of age through the radKIDS program.  We have seen it have positive results for those who have been abused through their empowerment and build up of personal self esteem.  These programs do work but not without the support of many.

Thank you for your donation to this valuable cause.  As we say in the radKIDS program...... you DO make a difference.....one child at a time.
