Hello and thank you for visiting my site.
I have joined a team of 12 to raise money for the American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA). AFCA provides life-saving medicine, supplies and food to children in Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe who have been infected with HIV/AIDS. We will be traveling to Tanzania, Africa on a 13 day hike to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
I am responsible for raising $10,000 for the trip. Your tax deductable donation will go towards the flight from USA to Kilimanjaro and back, accommodations, the hike, food and water. The remainder of the donations will be given to AFCA’s programs in Zimbabwe, Uganda and Kenya.
The main goal of the trip is to grow closer with God through service as He has blessed me with good health, reliable friends, great family, a career and a great opportunity to serve Him. I highly value your prayers and support in making this experience possible. Would you consider being a prayer and/or financial partner for this trip?
A little bit about me: 24 yr. old from Grantville, PA. I moved to Maryland in January 2007 to begin my teaching career with Frederick County Public Schools. I teach middle school art and I am very involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school. My favorite activites are playing soccer, snowboarding, running, riding bicycle, and being outdoors. I love to watch The Office and spend time with my family, fiance and friends.
Thank you so much for your support.
