My personal message:
Welcome to my fundraising page! I have decided to join the 30 Hour Famine movement and help STARVE HUNGER!

What does this mean? Basically, I go without food for 30 hours, so that someone else can eat.

29,000 children die every day from hunger and hunger-related causes- that means every three seconds a child dies. But through the 30 Hour Famine, my group and I are making a difference. Already, the 30 Hour Famine is making a change. Since the Famine started in 1992, the number of children who die from hunger and preventable diseases has fallen from 40,000 to 29,000 each day. But that is still too many.

My group and I will be joining hundreds of other students around Chicagoland to make impact the lives of hungry children in Mali, Niger, Rwanda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe. And it doesn't take a lot of money to make a big difference!

  • $30 will feed a child for one month
  • .$90 will feed a child for three months
  • $360 will feed one child for an entire year.
Please join me in the fight against hunger. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated. Let's work together to STARVE HUNGER!
