On Thursday May 22nd Michael Raven and I plan on taking 80 gallons of water from The Fieldston School and bringing it back to Riverdale. The route is one mile long. Michael and I want to raise awareness about how difficult it is to transport water. Some people in Africa are forced to walk ten miles a day just to get water. We hope everyone will come help us out, because frankly, 80 gallons is a lot of water. Our goal is to raise money for the African Well Fund so that more people can have easier access to water. Additionally, we hope that our water run/walk will give people an idea of how hard it is to walk long distances while carrying water.

We ask that you sponsor us based on how many gallons of water we are able to transport. Our donation suggestions are 25 cents, 50 cents, or one dollar per gallon, however, we'll take any money you are willing to donate.
