The Aberdare National Park is one of the most spectacular wildlife areas in East Africa.  It is a mountainous area containing a wealth of species including the endangered black rhino, illusive bongo and many elephants. Rhino Ark's mission is to raise funds and material support for the building of an electrified fence to encircle both the Aberdares National Park and the demarcated forestry areas which make up the Aberdares Conservation Area.  Seeking to preserve the valuable eco-system.

Rhino Charge 2008 - The Rhino Charge is an offroad event in which competitors are required to visit 13 points scattered over approximately 100 square kms of rough terrain within a 10 hour period.  The event is organized to raise funds for Rhino Ark Charitable Trust.  Competitors are required to raise the minimum sponsorship set by the organizing committee.  Most however raise considerable more!  Please sponsor one of the Teams/Cars by going to one of their fundraising pages - it is easy you can donate online.  Make your Team/Car raise the most funds!
