Hi, my name is Rianne and I'm looking for my forever home. Things were pretty rough for me before New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue came along. A nice man found me as a stray and wanted to let me stay with him but I had a really bad infection and he wasn't able to get me the medical care I needed so he surrendered me to the shelter and called NHCD Rescue for help. New Hope pulled me out of the shelter in the nick of time! The doctor said I probably would have died if I had spent another night in the shelter because my infection was so bad. I had to have a blood transfusion and surgery right away to remove 3 of my mammary glands. I had my first checkup today and the doctor says I'm healing really well. I'm sure feeling a lot better! I still have to wear this awful plastic radar collar for a while and my foster mom put a t-shirt on me so I wouldn't scratch my stitches but none of this has stopped me from giving lots of kisses to everyone I meet. So far I've shown my foster mom that I know how to sit, and I'm especially good at sitting right in front of the cupboard where she keeps the treats! I like to talk, mostly to my foster brother when he stops by to see me, and I really, really like my ears scratched (this collar is itchy!).
