Proceeds support the work of ROAR: our shelter for dogs and cats, therapy dog program, and spay / neuter and educational efforts.

MAKE YOUR DOG A STAR
The dog who raises the most money in sponsorships will be recognized by being included in the artwork on the t-shirt for the 2009 Paws for the Cause walk.  As ROAR Top Dog of 2008, your dog will be invited to help lead the 2009 walk.

AND…
The primary walker for each dog raising $250 or more receives a FREE Paws for the Cause T-shirt. (American Apparel in regular or slim-fit and youth sizes.)

Each registered dog (c/o his or her human) receives a free bag with great surprises from our sponsors.

THE ROUTE
Walk the full route (about 1 mile), or part of it, or just join us in Ballard Park for the family fun!  We'll start, and end, in the park.  Enjoy kid-friendly food and activities, plus vehicles like the vintage fire engine, antique cars and the Blue Buffalo Bus.  

**IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE**
All dogs must be dog- and people-friendly.  Appropriate leashes are required.  No retractables.
