Junior Achievement of Rhode Island

Start Fundraising

Dear Friends,

Junior Achievement of Rhode Island (JARI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides in-school and after-school programs for students in grades K-12 that focus on the three content areas of workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Some key facts about JARI include:

•It only costs 11 cents per day or $40.00 per year to provide a student a JA experience.
•10,550 RI students experienced JA programs last year, reaching 7% of the RI student population.
•The goal is to reach 14,200 students in the next few years.
•82% of students felt they had more awareness of career options available to them.
•82% of students said JA made them understand the importance of staying in school.
•89% of students reported that the confidently understood the concept of successfully managing money.

With your help, we can ensure that no child is turned away from a JARI program. Your contribution will help JARI continue to provide these important programs at no charge to Rhode Island schools. Even a modest contribution can make a real difference for children in our community.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Lee Lewis
President
