History of the River Music Experience:
Since first opening its doors in June of 2004, the RME has become an exciting destination that explores the contributions of the people, communities, and traditions that have given vitality and life to our society through music. Through diverse live music performances and unique educational programs, music lesson studios, and our affiliation with the national Rock Camp USA program (since 2006), RME has evolved into a showcase for the creation and performance of American music.
The Mission of the River Music Experience:
The River Music Experience (RME) exists to give our region's residents and our visitors opportunities to experience America's music, and most especially the music of the Mississippi River, through live musical performances, and programs which nurture, educate and inspire musicians and music appreciators.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the River Music Experience!
Though the RME houses fantastic live music venues and exposing live music to Quad Cities residents and visitors is a key part of our mission, the real core of the RME’s existence revolves around our constant strive to provide the highest quality music education in the region – be it learning to play an instrument, performance, or recording and production. Without the RME and its educational programming, up-and-coming musicians would not have the opportunities to explore the many facets of music and all of its wonderful benefits.
As you can see by visiting our web sites at www.rivermusicexperience.org and www.redstoneroom.com there's a lot going on related to the educational programming at the RME, and we’re very proud of being able to serve our community in this manner, but we can't do it without you. Without your support, the RME will have a far less chance of providing youngsters with the opportunities that they need to grow as musicians, young adults, and contributing members of our community and the world as a whole.
We’re at a crucial juncture in the history of RME, and it’s full of opportunity; now more than ever the RME needs the community's support, and we'll continue to bring you the best in live music and educational programming.
