Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,
Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page.

This summer I will be fortunate enough to volunteer with a not-for-profit service/leadership organization called Amigos de las Americas.

I will be spending seven weeks in Oaxaca carrying out nutrition workshops with groups of women focusing on Amaranth cooking, collaborating with the community on the construction of technologies such as community ovens, and working with groups of children to promote nutrition and life skills.
I am participating in Amigos to broaden my cultural horizons and improve my Spanish, while at the same time helping out communities. In order to serve the people of Latin America, I am responsible for raising $3,650 to cover most of the costs of the Latin American projects in which we will participate. By supporting Amigos, you can enjoy the rewards of developing future leaders who can change lives and enhance diversity. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
