There are two concurrent walks this year! 

The walks will take place Sunday, April 13, 2008, rain or shine at the following locations:

Go the Distance:  at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital

Walk This Way:  at Wallkill Senior High School

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the walks begin at 9:30 a.m.

Getting started is easy!  If you would like to create your own team and webpage, click on the GET STARTED button below.  If you just want to make a donation, click view all teams on the right  and select Ronald McDonald Family Room. 

You can build a team of family and friends who can participate in the walk or simply make a monetary donation which will support RMFR.  If you form a team of 10 or more who will participate in the walk, let us know and we will provide t-shirts for your group with our logo on the front and your team name on the back!  Deadline for t-shirt orders is March 21.  Team shirts will be passed out at our registration table. 

News from the Ronald McDonald Family Room

Water Damage Closes Ronald McDonald Family Room:  The Ronald McDonald Family Room (RMFR) located in the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY, was forced to evacuate families and shut down in the middle of the night on January 3, 2008.  The RMFR suffered catastrophic damage when a sprinkler pipe burst in the ceiling at 2:00am.  As long as it takes to rebuild, the Family Room will be out of service to those most in need:  families of critically ill or traumatically injured children.  Thank you for your support!
