Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia provides a home-away-from-home for families of critically ill, medically fragile or seriously injured children who are receiving medical treatment in our area. At our House, families find warm meals, comfortable beds, a place to do laundry, and emotional support from staff, volunteers and other families who are also facing the tremendous hardships of having a hospitalized child. We believe that keeping families together during times of pediatric medical crisis aids in the healing process. When we first opened in November 2002, we never could have imagined the enormous impact we would have on families for many years to come. When we opened our doors, we opened our hearts as well.
