Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Special Olympics Iowa Inc Polar Bear Plunge!
Coming up on March 29, the Center Point-Urbana Football Coaching Staff is going to be Freezin' For A Reason. As this new group of coaches comes together, it is our plan to make sure we give back to the community that supports our teams each and every fall. On March 29th, we'll be taking the Polar Bear Plunge to raise funds for the Iowa Special Olympics. This is the first time the event has been hosted in Linn County, and we're hoping to make an impact from the start as we sprint into the freezing Pleasant Creek Park water together.
We're asking friends, family, students, staff and community members to come together to help us reach the CPU Ice Cubes team goal of $2,000. We've even taken the time to come up with a little incentive program, and I promise all donors will get pictures from the day as proof.
If our group of plungers can raise $1,000.00, we're all going in. If we raise $2,000, we'll do it in shorts & CPU tshirts. $3,000, and we go in without shirts, wearing just shorts. $4,000, and Travis Bushaw goes in with nothing but a speedo. $5,000 and I will sport a speedo. Just because it is for a good cause!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. If you would rather write a check, definitely feel free to send it my way! My address is: 611 Nodaway Drive/Center Point, IA 52213.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
