Established in 1960, GRHCA was created to demonstrate the utility of providing health care services at home, rather than in hospitals or other facilities. Originally it subcontracted with health care provider agencies for frontline service delivery, but GRHCA began providing patient care directly (with its own employees) in the mid-1980s. It acquired ViaHealth Home Care in 2005 and adopted the name Lifetime Care. As Lifetime Care, the agency delivers compassionate, personalized care to adults and children who are ill, injured, dying or grieving. It also provides education that promotes healing, wellness and holistic care for children and adults.
