AIDS Project Rhode Island, a division of Family Service of Rhode Island, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to is to provide compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative response to the needs of people infected, affected and at risk of HIV/AIDS. This is accomplished through leadership in prevention, education, supportive services and advocacy. The Project is guided by principles that epitomize effective nonprofit management and client-centered outcomes.

My personal message:
I want to thank you personally, on behalf of the staff and clients of AIDS Project RI, for visiting my fundraising page. We do a lot of important work, from helping people with HIV live longer and healthier lives to educating people about how to avoid infection in the first place. In spite of the remarkable progress that's been made in treatment, we're still a long way from a cure, and managing HIV infection remains a challenge. In this climate of constant budget cuts, your donation really does help a great deal.
