I have been involved with Special Olympics for over 20 years, either through the Law enforcement Torch Run or my volunteer work during the games, and now coaching.  This will be my third year participating in the Super Polar Plunge.  I have added a new phot this year from the 2008 Plunge, and yes as you can see in the back ground it was SNOWING.  Your donations towards the plunge will help raise money for Special Olympic Athletes.

Many of you have assisted with the Angel Tree Program and the Shop with A Cop programs that I help manage through the Police Dept. and the Ames City Employees and their families.  I'm asking again to help me with another great cause.  For all of you that I have caused pain and suffering in your lives, this is a great way to pay me back!  Without your support I won't be allowed to take the Plunge... In the frigid waters of big Creek... every hour for 24 hours... and I will also run one mile after my plunge every hour!

Why?......... Because it's the right thing to do!!!!
