For those of you who know me, you know that once I set my mind to accomplishing a task, it gets done because of my drive and passion for things I care about.

Despite the fact that I've not ridden my bike this season as much as I wanted to,  I'm once again committing to finishing all 62 miles of this year's Emmaus Cycle for Shelter on Sunday,  June 26th. This is my third year ridding for The Emmaus House, I'm doing this in order to give back to something bigger than myself, particularly as I have been blessed with so much in my life.

I understand times are tough and the economy is not helping, but just think for a moment about those less fortunate,  yes, unemployment has hit close to home for some of us, I know that all too well, as I also know how things can change on a dime, but here we are still blessed and grateful for what we have. Not all of us are as lucky.

Emmaus House was proud to have received from the Greater Haverhill, MA Chamber of Commerce the Small Business of the Year Award for non-profit organizations! Please view to the left the wonderful things that The Emmaus House does.

There are homeless children, women and men who you pass every day who are desperately in need of your kindness and support. Please help me make a difference in their lives, more so now as they face difficult times.  We all need a helping hand once in a while.
