Welcome friends old and new to the new fundraising site ~ Run4NF. I want to share a letter I got from a woman who just ran an 8k in Philadelphia...
Debbi -- Thanks again for the words of encouragement and support. I received so many messages from others within the NF family and appreciate what you did to get the word out. I managed to run the entire 8K (no stopping, no walking) which was HUGE for me. I completed the run in 1 hour, 4 minutes. I won't be setting the running world on fire any time soon but am happy with my performance and for trying it in the first place. I have attached a picture of me at the starting line, all smiles and anxious to get going.(See top photo) I don't think the pix snapped by the professional photogs along the way will show me smiling!
