Brooke & Patrick Tevlin, Kate Winslow, Karen Lepage, Danielle Printz, Matt Burgess and Fletcher Carr  all completed the SportShoe 1/2 Marathon (13.1 miles)October 7, 2007 to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation! Everyone finished the race and enjoyed seeing Adria cheering for us as we crossed the finish line!We are hoping you would be willing to donate to this very worthy cause.  So far we've been overwhelmed with the support we have received.  THANK YOU!

We are excited about contributing all funds raised to the National Kidney Foundation of Maine in Adria Carr's name!

Many of you are aware that shortly after Adria completed the Portland 1/2 Marathon last fall, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.  Everyone who knows Adria has seen firsthand, the debilitating effects of kidney disease.  We have learned that treatment for her particular disease is sparse and research funding is lacking.  Adria is participating in a clinical study to further research efforts for her specific type of kidney disease.  We would love to expand on her efforts by making a contribution to fund further research for kidney disease in general!
