The Bob Biagiotti Family Fun 5K Run/Walk was organized in October of 2005 as a gathering place for the friends and family of Bob Biagiotti to host a special running/walking event in Bob’s honor. The two charities that will benefit from the event are: the Bernon Family YMCA Reach Out for Youth and Families program and the Best Buddies Franklin Chapter. Both organizations have played special roles in the lives of Bob, his wife Kris and daughter Kayla.
Some of Bob’s finest attributes were a commitment to charity, sportsmanship, and kindness to all. Bob’s happiest times were spent competing in 5K races while pushing Kayla in her special racing stroller with wife, Kris and his brother, Rick, running alongside.
