My personal message:

Not sure how I find myself in this predicament (actually, I know exactly how), but I am running the Boston Marathon on April 20.  And yes, I decided with 3 weeks notice.  Crazy?  Maybe.  Scared?  Maybe a little, but I'll be OK.  I have done one marathon before, so while I am no expert, I do know what I am in for.

Thanks to my friends from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital for furnishing a number.  They are doing such wonderful things over there, and it is an honor to be running in support of their efforts!

As hard as I am scrambling to train for the race, I am scrambling equally as hard to raise as much money as possible on behalf of Spaulding.  The minimum is $1,500, but I am hoping to raise significantly more than that.  How?  With help from all of you, of course!

Thanks so much for supporting my efforts, and all of the great work that they do at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.  I and they appreciate it very much!
