Welcome to Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries fundraising homepage for our 2012 Running for Great Kids Marathon Team. This year marks a huge milestone for Goodwill as it’s our 8th year participating in the Boston Marathon®!
Our 2012 team is composed of selfless individuals committed to supporting the academic, personal and professional development of the 600+ children from underserved communities throughout Massachusetts who participate in our after school academy for girls and camp.
Each mile run and dollar raised goes to support these two great programs:
· Mellon Academy for Girls is a year-round, after-school program that offers girls 10-18 academic enrichment, personal and leadership development and career exploration. The Academy helps girls gain a positive self-image, take pride in their abilities and build healthy successful futures.
· The Fresh Air Camp, which celebrates its 106th year in 2012, is a residential camp that provides academic and recreation programs for children from Greater Boston and other Massachusetts communities.
Thank you for helping Goodwill continue its legacy of assisting youth with limited opportunities realize their full potential.
