Dear Friends and Family,
Its Mercedes Marathon time! This is my fourth year teaching at The Bell Center, and I couldn't be happier! This year I've stepped it up and am training for the half-marathon in honor of my buddy Jourdan!
This year, I'm running in honor of a two-year-old named Jourdan who is learning to talk and to use sign language to communicate, and he is enjoying being in class with his friends! I got to know Jourdan's family while seeing him for Early Intervention services in his home last spring and summer. They are one of my favorite families! Although I don't have Jourdan in my class, I like to sneak in and interrupt his class to give him a hug! Jourdan's mom wrote a little bit to share about him:
"He LOVES playing in water. He loves running through the neighbor's sprinklers on warm summer days. He loves swimming in the pool and “swimming” in the bathtub. He is mischievous. And he is lovable. He loves to be hugged and held tight. He loves standing in front of the refrigerator with the door open. He loves orange soda. He loves his granny and gives her hugs to say “thanks.”
Thank you for visiting my Bell Center page and please consider supporting me in my efforts to help Jourdan and all other children served by The Bell Center by making a tax-deductible donation. No amount is too small! Don't forget to ask your employer about it's corporate matching program! Donating through this site is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising effort. You can also send a check made out to The Bell Center (make sure to include my name on the memo line). The check can be mailed to:

On behalf of Jourdan and everyone associated with The Bell Center, thank you for your support.
