For the 5th consecutive year,  I will be participating in the 8th annual "Cop on Top" fundraiser for Special Olympics Hawaii. For three days, September 3-5, 2009, law enforcement officers around the state will spend our off-duty time perched atop a 14' scaffolding, located at Safeway stores statewide. I will be heading up at 6am Thursday morning where I will eat, sleep and raise awareness for Special Olympics Hawaii. Please help me reach my goal so I can come down on Saturday!!!!

Officer Harold Chi, Kyle Echiberi and Lovinna Kaniho will also be part of Team Aiea.    Please donate here, if not,  then please come down and visit us or dunk us in the Dunk Tank.  You can also catch me on the KGMB news on Sept 3rd at 7:30 a.m.  Also you can come and see your favoite news people.  Stephanie Lum, Stacy Loe, Grace Lee, Olena Rubin, Jill Kuramoto, Rob DeMello and Dan Meisenzahl will also be coming to Aiea Safeway to be dunked in our Dunk Tank.

The event, which is Special Olympics Hawaii’s signature fundraiser, also works to create awareness for the important work the organization does, creating a safe and fun environment for Hawaii’s athletes with disabilities
