We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, located in Davis, California. We consist of a network of friends from all backgrounds who are committed to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged people in developing countries. We are 100% volunteer based. Yes, we don't pay any of our volunteer staff a single penny. This assures us that a maximal amount of funds can be sent abroad to directly help the people there.
Through our volunteer efforts, we provide much needed assistance to a number social development projects in developing countries, including India, Kenya, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. This includes basic education to children, disability programs, HIV awareness and treatment programs, women self-help groups with micro-finance activities, vocational training.
We also develop simple cartoon-based educational materials on HIV/AIDS and other topics, that can be downloaded freely for general use.
