Erich and I adopted Barkley from Pet Haven about 2 years ago after fostering him for 6 months. He was 12 years old then and had diabetes, but he was easy to treat , had perfect manners and is just as sweet as can be. You can read more about him in the "Happy Tails" section of Pet Haven's website : www.PetHavenMN.org. Please encourage everyone to consider adopting older cats and dogs. They are wonderful companions.
