Hey Everyone!!

I first of all just wanted to thank you in advance for visiting my webpage, taking the time to read this and for hopefully making a donation to Camp Taylor.

It really means alot to Camp Taylor, but more importantly it means alot to me!!  Many of you probably don't know that much about Camp Taylor, so let me share some knowledge with you. Camp Taylor isn't just an ordinary summer camp! ITS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT to me and many others who have heart conditions. For me  its a safe place, a fun place, and most important, a place where I fit in and that everyone around me has something in common, that is that we all either have some form of heart disease, or we have a sibiling with heart disease. I fall into both those catagories. My little brother, Michael, has a very minor, and I mean really minor heart defect, and but sadly for him, he has never been to this camp.  When I am at Camp Taylor, I feel like a normal kid, with a normal life just like everyone else there. It's a great break from reality.  I have gained so much from Camp Taylor, more than I have ever imagined I could, and now I get to give back to them!!

How you ask...............? Well thats where you come into this whole picture!!  This summer just like last, Camp Taylor is going to Hawaii for its second ever session of Camp for Hawaiian kids with heart disease! It's pretty exciting!! This year, just like last, I am going with them to help set up the camp and to work at the camp as a mentor to two families. Both of these families have children with heart disease, and both of these children are girls. As part of this role I will "Mentor them" and let them know that its true that " they will have a "Normal" Childhood and that everything will be ok! I am also going there to let them know that they are not alone!!  that I know a whole community of people like us, and that community is called "CAMP TAYLOR"!

I hope that you will donate to this wonderful orginization, because your money is the "KEY to making all of the above possible!! With out the generous donations of many people , one of them being you, this camp, Camp Taylor" would NOT be possible!!
