Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon

Those who know me well call me THE PRINCESS, so when I learned that the happiest place on earth was holding a charity marathon on the best day in the world, March 7th (my 26th Birthday), I thought of my Gramma. Those who know me well also know that running 13.1 miles will be no easy task, so I need your help.

In 2005 my Gramma Scannell was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and being the little rock star that she is, Gramma kicked cancer's butt. However, I know too many friends and family members affected by the horrible disease, for which the outcome was not the same.

For women who have been victorious in the fight against breast cancer and those who continue to battle both here and in heaven, I am running in Disney's Princess Half Marathon in Walt Disney World on March 7th, 2010. I am running in honor of my Gramma, Dorothy Fanning Scannell.

I am choosing to run for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to provide mammograms to underpaid women and help pioneer breast cancer research. Please, help me support this great foundation by making a donation in any dollar amount that you can. In addition to any monetary donations, I also want to run in honor of any loved ones whom you may know that have been touched by breast cancer, so please share your donations in their honor.
