Jambo rafiki (Hello my friend)! This is the 3 Peaks 3 Weeks fundraising page of Sarah Winters Papsun. I have raised my first goal, and "up-ed" my eyes on a new funding goal of $12,000 USD! We need your help! Together we can all do something amazing to help our fellow humans in Africa. I have been selected to hike with "3 Peaks 3 Weeks" in January 2010. I feel so honored and blessed to get to help 3 amazing charities and hike 3 huge mountains to prove my commitment to these causes. I need your help and donation.

The 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge is an annual all-female climbing event which aims to summit three of Africa’s highest peaks (The climbs of Mt Kenya, Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro) in three weeks, raising money and awareness for the three key issues currently facing Africa; environment, education and health.

This is a very unique organization. No one within 3 Peaks 3 Weeks earns an income or any form of monetary contribution for working on 3 Peaks - 100 percent of the fundraising and the donations received are directed to our three supported organizations. I pay all my expenses for this journey, to ensure all donations get to the causes. Please note that if you prefer to donate via check or another method, e-mail me to inquire other options.

3 Peaks 3 Weeks is organized in partnership with Save the Rhino International (SRI). SRI collects and distributes raised funds on behalf of 3 Peaks 3 Weeks to the three pre-selected organizations (The School of St. Jude, Support for International Change, and Laikipia Wildlife Foundation.) in Africa and assist with event management and logistics.  (Save the Rhino International Inc is a 501 (c) 3 organization, EIN 31-1758236, and donations to it are tax deductible!)

A huge thanks to all who were a part of the NYC Fundraiser Gala this past October. We raised over $4,200.00 that night!

- Saturday December 5th 8pm-midnight: After party to the Norwalk Community Choral / my birthday celebration. Please come to the concert at 8 pm, at Norwalk City Hall, then come back to my parents home for drinks, cake and collection of bandaids for Africa and annual underpants project for the Norwalk Emergency Shelter!
