The Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) was founded by two sexual assault survivors in 1977. SARC operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. SARC works closely with Oregon's Sexual Assault Task Force and other community partners in Washington, Multnomah and Clackamas Counties to ensure that best practices are followed throughout the state. On average, SARC serves over 3500 un-duplicated survivors each year. We are a non-profit organization funded by government grants, foundations, and private donations.
