UPDATE 2
Through a combination of sources, we’ve raised sufficient funds to ransom & transport ALL 27 horses. They are in the process of being transported to rescue facilities and loving homes. We could not pull off these larger rescue efforts without you. Thank you for your help and generosity!
UPDATE:
Through a combination of sources, we’ve managed to raise the funds needed to “ransom” ALL 27 horses. We are still working to raise the balance of funds needed to transport them to safety. We still need a $1,000 to wrap that up.
One load of horses has already been delivered, and another is scheduled soon. Please consider a donation to help the remaining horses reach safe havens. Thank you for your rising to the cause! Without your assistance, our work would not be possible!

Please help us save these
27 horses which include
pregnant mares, foals, yearlings and geldings!
They will be
shipped to slaughter if not rescued

We must now raise $7,110 to save these animals.
Due to the sagging economy, two big ranches in Nevada are liquidating their horses. They are selling truckloads of horses directly to the feedlot. The horses listed below are currently at the feedlot, and will be headed to a slaughter house soon. We are raising funds to pull them to safety, and simultaneously looking for rescues and/or adoptive homes that are willing/able to take horses into their care.
If you have space in your home and heart for a horse, please send your inquiry via email to valleyviewranch@gmail.com. The person handling placement of the horses will get back to you.
Please consider offering a donation or a permanent home for these noble horses. In order to save these animals, we must pay the feedlot what they deem the animal's value if they were taken to slaughter.
These beautiful animals are at a feedlot in Nevada waiting to be loaded onto a truck bound for the slaughterhouse. These horses are out of options. They have no advocates and no hope for rescue unless we step up for them. Please find it in your heart to help these horses, either by donating to the rescue effort, offering to fund or adopt a horse, or both. Transport will be arranged*.
