DEVON NEEDS YOUR HELP!

On August 11, 2008, SCGSR received an email asking us to save Devon's life.  Devon had become ill with kennel cough in a high kill San Bernardino shelter.  Once a dog is ill, it is moved to the top of the list to be euthanized.  Working quickly, SCGSR volunteers transported Devon from San Bernardino to San Diego.  Devon's kennel cough developed into pneumonia, and he has been in the hospital ever since.  At first we thought Devon was getting better, but this weekend he took a turn for the worse. 

Poor Devon could barely breath, and had to be put on IV fluids and antibiotics.  He is beginning to feel better, but his vet bills are rising astronomically.  We have spent so much this year, on Harry's elbow dysplasia andon Hank's double hip surgery, our small savings are completely gone!

Please help Devon pay his vet bills and help him get better!  Giving allows SCGSR to continue to say yes to helping beautiful dogs like Devon who just need a little help to become cherished pets in their forever homes!
