Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma 2012
We are 12 walks and one 5K run strong.

You have a powerful tool to assist your efforts to raise money and awareness on behalf of scleroderma patients. With your online fundraising page you will be able to reach out to a large number of supporters across the country and around the world. Let the wonders of the electronic age work as you help to conquer scleroderma by soliciting family, friends, co-workers, teachers, classmates.
New registration fees for 2012.
- Walk day registration fee: (1) $25 for those 16 and older; (2) $5 for those 5-15; (3) $0 for those under 5.
- Online or pre-walk mailed in registration fee: (1) $20 for those 16 and older; (2) $5 for those 5-15; (3) $0 for those under 5. Mailed in registration forms are needed by the Wednesday preceding the walk to be processed correctly.
For walk day registrants, t-shirt sizes and quantities are limited, so please register early (online or mail in) and indicate a size to guarantee a shirt.
Raise $250 and receive a FREE Scleroderma Foundation/Tri-State Chapter stadium blanket OR duffel (one gift per registrant/family please).
Online registration closes at 8 a.m. on the Friday preceding the walk.
Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma dates and locations can be found in the area immediately to the right (Events Box) or click the "Start Fundraising" button at the top of the page.
Please solicit family, friends, and co-workers to assist patients and care givers while helping to eradicate scleroderma. This is our major fundraiser of the year so please help today. It can be as easy as:
- Clicking the Register button;
- Register as many people as you like in this one session;
- Join an already existing team or start a new team when prompted;
- Customize the text and photo on your personal fundraising page and add a YouTube video;
- Customize the auto email response "thank you" you can send to your supporters;
- Send your fundraising page link to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, teachers - everyone you know, anywhere in the world - and ask for their support;
- Send it on Twitter and/or as an email;
- Place the link on Facebook.
So click the Register button after choosing the event and see how easy it is to become a fundraising superstar. All contributions received through your website are guaranteed secure transactions. In case someone doesn't want to use her/his credit card let them know that they can support your efforts by sending you a check payable SF Tristate.
