Vertical Cure is a fundraising event challenging participants to ski as many vertical feet as possible in one day. Our goal is to generate awareness of Scleroderma - a chronic, autoimmune tissue disease that currently does not have a cure - as well as secure charitable pledges to support research for the disease.
Our event is scheduled on March 31, 2012 at Mammoth Mountain. It will be our 11th event and through our past efforts we have raised over $210,000 for the Scleroderma Foundation. Our participants have skied over 11 million feet for the cause - and we have had a great time doing it. The event is open to all ages with fun awards given for both kids and adults.
Dinner and a Participant Gift Bag are provided with registration fee. Lift tickets and other expenses are not included.
