Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  My name is Lucy and I'm a 1 year old snuggle bug.   At only 8 weeks old, I was found in a parking lot next to a very busy highway.  A really nice person brought me to Shelby Humane Society.  I sure am glad they did because I was really scared, hungry and all alone.   I was later adopted into a loving home.  Upon arrival, I met another feline friend.  His name is Gizmo and he was also adopted from SHS back in 2003. We are best friends now.  Enough about me, I really need your help. I'm trying to raise money for Shelby Humane Society so they can help my furry friends that have no place to go.  Life is really tough out on the streets.  Many of my friends out there are homeless, hungry and even sick with nobody to help them.  Almost 8000 dogs and cats come in to the shelter every year.  While at the shelter, my friends get plenty of fresh food and water, a clean place to sleep, socializing and medical attention if needed.  Will you help the humane society continue to provide this care by making a donation today?

As you can see at the top of this page, I set my goal at $1000.  Boy, what they could do with a grand!  They could use $700 to transport 30-35 dogs to our shelter partners in New Hampshire where they are adopted really quick. $1000 would  microchip 50 cats or dogs, provide spay/neuter surgeries for 20+ or provide heartworm treatment for 10 dogs.  I could go on and on......  Will you help me?
