Champions Have Run Here, Will You?
The New York Racing Association is Joining with Shareing & Careing to raise money for women battling Breast and Ovarian Cancer. Be among the first people to run a 5K race on the Track of Champions -- AQUEDUCT RACETRACK.
Why you ask is this going to be such a special day? It is unprecedented that men, women and children are being permitted to run on the racetrack and at the same time you will be raising funds that desperately ill women and men battling cancer need. Funds that provide prosthesis, pharmaceutical assistance, transportation, case management and support.
You are invited to join in the 10:30am 5K Race on Sunday, April 22, 2012, Closing Day of the Season at Aqueduct Racetrack. You will have 45 minutes to complete the race and then join us for the Trophy Presentation in the Winner's Circle at 11:45 am. Following the Presentation you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Closing Day of the Season at Aqueduct Racetrack, races begin at 1 pm. Aqueduct also is now open for gameing.
Runner's Fee $25 ALL of which is tax deductible. Preceding the Adult Race, a Race for the Children attending the event will be held at 10:30. Children 10 Years of Age and younger are FREE and MUST be accompanied by and adult.
The Second Race has been named THE SENATOR ONORATO/ SHAREING & CAREINGRACE. The luncheon begins at noon in the Equestris Dining Room at Aqeuduct Racetrack. Unfortunately, the luncheon honoring Senator George Onorato is sold out, but the opportunites to run are still available.
