From Sheila...Most of you who know me, know my love for animals. Since coming to work for the NHSPCA I have been so deeply touched by all of the animals, nearly 4000, that turn to us for help. They are homeless, hungry, often sick or injured. I wish I could wave my wand and create a humane world. But since that isn't likely on my own, I reach out to all of you. I want us to help provide these needy animals a better life, a life in a loving warm home with people who love them. Just like the homes that you and I give to our animal loves. I’m not asking for much, just what ever you can do. A small sacrifice can help so many animals. A cup of coffee at Starbucks could feed a kitty for a few days. A quick trip through the drive thru can provide meals for a few dogs a night or two. Donations help with the vet bills, food, rescue, cruelty investigation and all that it takes to care for the animals and get them healthy while they wait to find their forever homes.
