The Race will be at Deussen Park. We will be starting at Pavilion #5. Enter the park at the main entrance. Follow the road straight to the back by the lake. There will be volunteers there to guide you on your way.

  The Sheldon Shuffle 5K Fun Run/Walk & Kids’ 1K is a benefit race for the Sheldon ISD Education Foundation.  This event includes a 5K (3.1 miles) race for runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities and ages, as well as a Kids’ 1K (0.6 mile race) to involve the family!


  The Sheldon Shuffle 5K Fun Run & Walk  is on a fast and accurate 5K course starting and finishing at Alexander Deussen Park.  A race map is available on www.sheldonisd.com.

   A medical aid station will be set up at the start/finish area with additional medical personnel at the water aid stations set up at the 1½ mile marker on the course.

   Times will be called at each mile marker for the racers.  Walkers WILL NOT  be timed. 


   A post race awards ceremony will begin after the completion of the 5K race on the grounds of Alexander Deussen Park for all participants.  Celebrate after the race with food, drinks, music and awards.

   Awards to the Top Male and Female Overall finishers and the top 3 male and the top 3 female finishers in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

     1K Kids’ Race:

   Awards will be given to the top 3 male and the top 3 female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under and 11-13
